Another attempt at pro-markers

Afternoon all,

Over the weekend i managed to get quite a bit of crafting done. I had to make a card for a wallet swap over on docrafts.
I had this image that was kindly sent to me by the lovely Sall and decided to colour it using my pro-markers. I am sort of happy with it, but i think that i am better with pencils and sansador.




Sorry the close up piccie is poo, I am still in need of some serious help re photo taking i think.
Anyone know of any websites that do online tutorials?

Duck update

Afternoon again...lol
Our ducks are the fussiest ducks in the world i think, basically they wont go in the pool if the water is dirty. We have been managing with a small 3 ring kiddies pool for a while now but thought maybe a bigger pool would be better for them now, to try and swim. I managed to get a video of them in there.

Wedding Accordian book in a box

Afternon all,

Well i have been very busy crafting this weekend, and trust me I have loved every second of it. Just need to keep the ideas coming and who knows i may even get some more done. First though I thought I better update my blog being that I have been such a bad blogger.

The plan is that i will go to the wedding on saturday, take piccies of the wedding, pick the best 6 and go to the shop and have the best 6 printed small, stick them in the album then give it to them as a gift at the evening receiption. Mmm, lets just hope i remember my camera. Feel free to leave me messages friday to remind me...lol

Tattoo Cover up

Afternoon all,

Been a naughty blogger again i know. Its just I havent had anytime for crafting recently so its not good. Hopefully I canmake some me time tonight and over the weekend, we will see. :)

Ok, I had this tattoo done 12 years ago, and for some strange reason it has distorted, you cant really make out what thetattoo is of or what it says. It is like it is a blur.



So i booked an appointment to go to Chameleons and have Adam do a cover up for me.
This is how it came out:



I am over the moon with the tattoo, I love the colouring and the fact you would never know there was a rose there originally.

Hi ya,

Not a craft post im afraid, just some piccies of my lovely weekend in london with my lovely fiance Darren.

Saturday we went to the Imperial War museum, then on to the hotel.

Sunday we went to the london aquarium and then had lunch on one of the river boats.

Def a fab weekend.

Star Book

Morning all,

here are the piccies of the star book i made in the final class at sugar and spice.
I have made a few of these before so i had the idea already. I was a bit dubious about folding the piccies to go in the middle, but i can honestly say i love the outcome.

I would like to thank Nina for showing us how to make all these books, and for running the class for us.

This is a maze book, the flower on the front is shrink plastic.

Memories book

Morning all,

Finally getting around to load up my mini albums i made at sugar and spice off the page course.
Here is the first one we made:-









we used coasters to make this album, and the memories on the cover was cut with the cricut.
I really enjoyed making this book, so much so i have bought beer mats to make my own.
I just need to dig out piccies to add to this.

Another friendship swap card

Afternoon all,

Well i can post this on here now as i know the card has been received, i would normally still have posted but i know this one looks at my blog a bit. So Emma, you came unstuck hun it wasnt here til you received it.

Card cut from my nesties, along with the inner circle and circle around image.
Flower from stash.
Buttons from stash, i am sure they are papermania ones.
Stamp from stash(cant remember what it is)
Butterfly was sent to me in a image swap, coloured with koh-i-noor pencils and sansador.

I love making these nesties cards i think the effect is lovely. I also think these would be nice made up as a notebook set...mmm another project idea.

Nesties card

Here is the second card of the morning.
I used a square card blank and cur the large scalloped circle using my nesties and cuttlebig. I then cut the pink circle using nesties and also embossed it using the new tan mat i bought last weekend. (thanks nina & marion for showing me how to do this.)



Cupcake was sent to me, but i think it is one of magnolias, i coloured this using my koh-i-noor pencils added glossy accent to the icing and sprinkled on some glamour dust. The flower is another of the Green Tara ones.

Simple yet effective me thinks :)

First Wallet card

OMG i cant believe how much i have got done already.
You have already seen my album, and i have also made this:-

Image was one that was sent to me coloured with koh-i-noor pencils, card from stash, eyelets found in bottom of box, buttons were papermania ones i think, large flower was green tara, small flower from a bunch i got from range, and brad was a papermania pearl brad.

Mini clear album

Morning all,
I cant believe i am up ready and crafting already and its only 9:45 on a Sundy morning! lol
Yesterday was a good day i went to Barleylands to Sugar and Spice for my 3rd week of the course off the page. This week we made a mini clear album. We learnt to use archive ink to resist the alcohol inks to give a lovely effect. I love going to Ninas classes, apart from being crazy she has lovely ideas and makes the most beautiful things. I am actually really pleased with the outcome of this, which makes a change for me...lol

When i got back, i went to Darrens and we popped over the town show over central park in dagenham. It was ok i guess, but in the years i have gone nothing changes, same faces, same crap...lol
