Hi! card for friendship swap

Afternoon all,

I hope you are all having a fab weekend, and that hayfever suffers like me are not suffering too bad. Yesterday my hayfever was that bad that my eye swelled up and i couldnt open it properly.

Here is another card i managed to make on Wednesday on my day off:

How to post a link

Afternoon all,

This post is especially for Jenni and Alsyon, but may come in handy for others that dont know how to do this.

I know when I was trying to add links to my posts i struggled to find instructions for it.

There are a couple of ways of doing this, the easiest way, which is the way i do it is through the create post link. Now, if i want to have the word HERE linked with docrafts website i would type the HERE highlight it by running mouse over it whilst holding down the left mouse button. Now above the box where you type it has a picture of a world then what looks like a paperclip on it, if you click that it brings up a script prompt, which is where you add your website. then once you click ok it will come up like this HERE Now if the prompt box doesnt come up then see if a yellow warning bar has come up, if it has just right click and click on allow.

Now reading this back it would confuse me, but maybe thats just me. If you cant work it out this way, which is the way i find best, then check out Kathleens blog here as she describes the other way of doing it by remembering the link.

* flower is one of the artificial ones i bought from the range, and broke down to get about 50 flowers (tip received from caroljenks over on docrafts.
* paper is from one of the papermania packs, cant remember which one though...lol

Birthday card for a 1st birthday

Morning all,

Well I had a day holiday yesterday and I managed some me time in the shed, and wow it was fab. I havent managed to craft for that long in ages. Hopefully this means that my mojo is finally coming back to me. Lets hope i can get on with scrapping after my course with the lovely nina, i have got ideas running through my head.

Mum had hospital yesterday morning at the heart department, and she has been told things are looking good, her cholestral and blood pressure are now under contol, and this means she hasnt got to go back to the hospital for check ups again for another year. So this is excellent news for us.

I made this card for Steve for him t give to his neice on saturday, thankfully he loved it. I think the image is so cute :o)

My little duck.

Morning all,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Just a quick post with a close up piccie of my little duck. This one is still un-named. Mum has called her one Donald and Leighann has called her one Pickles. God knows why she has called it pickles??? she should so be blond.



I managed to get out to the shed for a little while last night, and have been playing around with a decoupage set that grandad bought me well before he passed away. He passed away in September 2007, so i have had it a long time...lol
Hope to finish that tonight and put piccies on here.

I also had a play about with my new pencils, and sansador liquid and they are fabby. I cant remember the name of the pencils but i will add that when i load the images.

Anyway i better get back to work, i am sure thats what they pay me for...lol

Slimming world week 2 weigh in

Evening all,

Just a quick post, had weigh in tonight and i stayed the same?? not sure why as i have been good this week. So i will do a food diary to monitor what i am eating.

Oh well, extra good this week, i need ot shift this excess weight if i gonna marry Darren, i dont want to walk down the aisle as i am, i dont have any confidence at best of times let alone in a wedding dress.

No crafting yet this week, i am a week behind on the christmas challenge also. Hopefully the weekend i can get out and play as i received my new nesties this week also. I got the oval shapes so cant wait to play.

Had a delivery from Mad about cards so again i want to have a play with my stash :o)

Last week weight loss, and feeling sad :o(

Afternoon all,

I forgot to blog last week on my weight loss, well for the first week back i lost 3lb, so i am back moving in the right direction. All good. I have my 2nd weighin tonight not sure how well it will go as i have had a few meals out this past week, all arranged before i went back to SW. So, fingers crossed as i didnt eat rubbish.

I am feeling a bit sad and low today, so if anyone has any hugs spare can i please have them?
